Patrik Antonious is one of the biggest
up-and-coming names in the
poker world. Patrick
was born in Finland in 1980 and grew
up 50 minutes outside of
Helsinki in a town called Vantaa. At the age of
12, Patrik began playing
poker with friends from his
town. When Patrick
turned 18, he played in his
first casino tournament.
The game was No Limit Texas
Holdem, with a 25$ buy-in.
Patrik turned his $25 buy-in
into $260. This really
motivated him to play more
poker even though he was an
aspiring tennis player at
this point of his life.
After sparking his interest,
Antonius started playing a
lot more poker.
In 2005, Patrik's career as
a poker player began to take
shape as he placed second in
the Bellagio 5-Star Poker
Classic. Since this
time, Patrick has won
several 100K+ poker events.
In total, Patrick Antonius
has won over 2 million
dollars from playing poker.
His Poker Style
Patrik Antonius is known for
being a very aggressive
player at the poker tables.
Patrik is completely self
taught, though he has been
known to get some help now
from time to time.
Patrick has teamed up with
Marcel Luske's Circle of
Outlaws. The Circle of
Outlaws consist of several
big name poker players that
are known as being some of
the most dangerous poker
players to come against at
the tables.
