thanks for posting this is saw it when it aired .. its sick i introduced a few people to fulltilt when i started one being my former roommate , when i was at work apperently he entered some freerolls with multiple names and now my account is ban for life, fulltilt no longer responds to me , i have told full tilt i always respect the rules of the site ,they are there to keep the integrity of the game , i belive nothing was profited from these freerolls and have offerd to pay back any funds they feel where made illegal , keep in mind i have deposited over $500.00 with the same and only credit card and never cashed out . all im saying is what so brian townsend donates 25 k to the ppa and hes allowed to play still after he admits to muli accounting and trust me he profited more than i ever could , than i saw this eli elezra and man whats going on this is sick i want to take all this to congress they select who they let cheat?

Horrifying, I have been playing on here for more than a few years, no one is trying to give me any money back. Many deposits and zero withdrawals, now I need not wonder why. Bad beats are famous, but lets face it, sometimes you have to ask yourself why would they bet that way??? As if they knew what was coming next, or they can see your hand. Rich people are all greedy today. Devils I say. I have never made more than $50K a year, and all I want to do is win a little money to help out. I am a good player, but against this? What could I ever do to win, honestly?

I can’t believe everyone hasn’t pulled all their money out of these sites and found something better to do. The sites cannot protect the integrity of the game, what with involving UltimateBet programmers to help people cheat???? Totally ridiculous. I have another example of UB not doing anything to protect people from cheaters. I was playing a cash tournament and was down to the final 3 players. I was 2nd in chips. I had long suspected the other 2 were somehow in cahoots when the following hand occured. I was in the big blind, the button (chip leader)raised, small blind called and I called. The flop came AJ5 rainbow. After about a 45 second delay, the small blind bet out, I folded and the button called. The turn was another A. Small blind again bet out, big blind called. The river was an 8. The small blind checked, the big blind bet and then the small blind raised. The big blind folded his hand but showed AJ, which was the absolute nuts!!! What I believe is obvious is that these 2 were either on the phone or on a messenger service and on this hand, the big blind (who was chip leader) dumped a big pot to the small blind (who was the short stack). This basically gave us all the same amount of chips and also allowed either of them to severely cripple my chips if they should beat me in a pot. I immediately called UltimateBet security to report this. I was informed that they would look at the hand and determine if any wrongdoing had occured. I waited on the phone but when the guy came back, he said he couldn’t find the hand I was talking about. I told him to email me a spreadsheet of all the hands played at that table, which he did. I not only found and highlighted the hand and emailed it back, but I also called the security guy again and we went over it together. He then admitted to me that this was blatant collusion and would be dealt with appropriately. I ended up finishing 2nd but was extremely unhappy about having to deal with cheaters. I figured UltimateBet would disqualify them both the tournament, readminister the prize pool and ban them from the site. They did none of that. What they did was refund my initial entry fee and issue these players a warning??????? Can you believe it??? Security agreed it was blatant cheating, a direct violation of their rules yet they got to keep the money, get a gentle slap on the wrist and continue to play at the site. After that, I closed my account and told UltimateBet to go to hell. I also sent the emails and spreadsheet to CardPlayer Magazine in the hopes of exposing UltimateBet as a site that allowed this type of nonsense. Of course, as UltimateBet advertises in CardPlayer, nothing was ever mentioned. Bottom line is this. If you are an American and get cheated by one of these foreign based online poker sites, you have NO RECOURSE. There is nobody you can call or write who can do anything. The ineptitude of the staff will astonish you and their lack of willingness to enforce their own rules will frustrate you. Your best bet is to do what I did. STOP PLAYING POKER ONLINE!!!!
