Harrah’s Inks Deal To Use PokerTek Automated Poker Tables
Harrah’s announced today that they have signed a multi-year deal to use PokerTek’s PokerPro Tables in their Casinos.
Harrah’s operates 50 casinos in 13 states in the U.S. and six countries. It has more than 450 traditional poker tables in those casinos.
This is huge news for the poker world as it shows that these automated systems could eventually become the standard in Casinos around the world. Next time you visit a casino there might no longer be a dealer handing out the cards.
As part of the deal, Harrahs has allowed PokerTek to market a World Series of Poker brand of PokerTek tables.
