Hoyt Corkins Takes a Vacation – Gets Cleaned Out
Poker professional Hoyt Corkins is currently on vacation, far away from his home in the exclusive gated community of Spanish Trails in Las Vegas. So imagine the “punched in the gut” feeling he must have had when he got the phone call that his home was just robbed of not only his automobiles and a motorcycle but priceless items like his WSOP bracelets.
Yes, somehow these thieves were able to enter one of the more exclusive, gated communities in Vegas and make off with these items plus more, including a SAFE! Through a spokesperson, Hoyt had the following to say:
“I am clearly devastated by this. My hope is that the poker community will help me try and recover the irreplaceable items that were taken,” said Corkins, “I truly appreciate the outpouring of love and support I have received.”
This act has all of the trappings of an inside job: the number of items taken, the SIZE of the items taken (including a full size Chevy Tahoe with a Doyles Room vehicle wrap!), and the fact that this community is normally very secure. Stay tuned for updates on this one.
