Jamie Samuelson Is A Moron
In his blog post today, Jamie Samuelson (no idea who he is, other than a half ass radio DJ and poker poser) complains that he doesn’t want to flip on ESPN and see a bunch of no names playing poker. He readily admits to not playing much poker or even caring much about the game, yet he still takes the shot today to cut down the popularity of poker.
He concedes that he probably doesn’t enjoy it as much because he lacks the understanding of the game to pick up the nuances that other enthusiasts may. He also says that he has “no problem for people with a passion for (poker)”. Thanks for letting us all know that you’re A-OK with us watching a game of poker on ESPN, Jamie!
This guy instantly loses credit with me because if you look at his blog, every single post other than this one is about traditional sports. So Jamie, I’m sorry that poker took up a whole three hours of your precious viewing time last night on ESPN. You may want to try ESPN 2, or ESPN News, or ESPN Espanol, or any of the other 14 channels that they offer on satellite. Or better yet, admit to your fans that you really enjoy reruns of Will and Grace on Lifetime. It’s ok, my wife LOVES that show too. Maybe you two can complain in unison the next time ESPN shows a few no-names battling it out for 9 million.
