Ladies International Poker Series Adds Peru to Schedule
The Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) will kick off August 23rd at Casino Atlantic City, in exotic Miraflores, Peru, near the capitol city of Lima. The series, fondly termed “LIPS”, will run through September 1st, 2008. LIPS tour founder, Lupe Soto said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be expanding into Latin America. This is only the beginning of the new type of poker tourism we’ll be able to offer players. Our goal is to create great poker opportunities and amazing venues in which to play the game, as well.”
The series features a Super Pass of buy-ins to all LIPS events scheduled through the week as well as the Main Event buy-in of $1,080. The series will offer many daily events which range from $225 to $500 and Early Bird events including the eagerly anticipated mega-satellite with winners being awarded $200. The schedule is rounded out with a ladies tournament, a bounty tournament and will run daily satellite competitions. Expected in attendance is a world class field of players including featured guests, Linda Johnson and Jan Fisher. Both will offer a poker strategy seminar for all attendees.
With poker play limited to the hours of 6pm to 6am and Casino Atlantic City located a few blocks from the beach, series participants have a chance to explore Peru’s vast cultural attractions. Incan treasures, Machu Picchu, sun and sand are just a few of the local offerings.

For every 10 players, One “Super Pass” will be issued plus $200 in cash
