Merge Gaming Network Reopens To U.S. Players
Merge Gaming Network has reopened itself to US customers, now that there is no competition for them in this particular market! Merge Gaming Network is trying to fill the gap in the online poker market by allowing US poker customers to play at their sites once again.
Merge opened up to US players only recently although no official announcements regarding the same have been made.
The Merge Gaming Network took a bow out of the online poker market in the US before claiming that they were falling short on satisfying payment processes to their customers. In time, other major online poker networks like PokerStars, Full Tilt and Absolute Poker were forced to shut down due to the effects of Black Friday. At that point in time Merge was operating on a two-week back-log on processing payments. Merge Gaming Network withdrew from the US online poker market stating that they would be back.
After all this, there has been a constant rumor prevalent in the online poker market stating that Merge was returning to the scene, but this did not happen. And now, although Merge Gaming Network is not ready to make a full-fledged announcement regarding its “comeback” or “return” to the US online poker scene, it has started accepting US players. Merge Gaming Network has asked the websites to not make a public announcement of the same.
Currently, Merge Gaming Network ranks as the 12th largest amongst the online poker networks list in terms of the crowd that it rakes in for cash games. This makes Merge one of the biggest online gaming networks for the US at this point in time. Although, Bodog ranks 13th, it will be leaving the US poker market by the end of this year. Merge Gaming Network has a good chance to rank amongst the top ten based on the number of players that are signing up for it.
