Most WSOP Bracelets Record Broken!
Poker’s brat, Phil Hellmuth, has broken the 3-way tie for most WSOP (World Series of Poker) bracelets by winning his 11th today in the 2007 WSOP.
Hellmuth beat the field of 2628 at the $1500 No Limit holdem event today to make poker history. To top it off, he also took home $637,324 for winning the event.
“This is an insult,” said Mike Matusow as he waited for Hellmuth. “This is bad for poker, it’s so bad for the game.”
Prior to the event Hellmuth was in a 3-way tie with Doyle Brunson and Johnny Chan. I guess this means that Hellmuth is now going to be even more cocky (see videos at bottom of the page) at the poker table.
