Online Poker Comedy Show “The Micros” Releases to Rave Reviews

The first episode of “The Micros,” a brand new online animated poker comedy series, was launched immediately capturing the attention of the online poker gaming community and attracting rave reviews. The comedy series has been developed by John “JimmyLegs” Wray and Jay “KRANTZ” Rosenkrantz and its pilot episode can be viewed on YouTube; the video has also been embedded on many news sites too.

Rosenkrantz, who is the executive producer of “From Busto to Robusto,” an immensely popular online documentary, is currently working on a new movie “Boom: The Incredible True Story of Online Poker.” Rosenkrantz also played a prominent role in “Two Months, Two Million,” a G4 television show. His partner Wray is one of the creators of “The Ballad of Jackie Mayfair” and “The R4v3n.”

Plenty of details regarding the comedy show are available on its Facebook page. The plot revolves around a frustrated low-stakes poker player and his poker-loving buddies, who finally get a chance to play big-time poker. The comedy is meant for the entertainment of online poker players, who enjoy spending several hours at the online poker tables. Even poker enthusiasts, who do not play, but spend a considerable portion of their time reading and talking about the doings of top poker stars, will be delighted with the comedy show.

The show breaks out into its first joke in 1 minute and 30 seconds, and in just 30 more seconds, it makes a crack about players moving up to tables where raises are actually looked upon with respect. The online comedy show will greatly appeal to poker players who spend a major chunk of their lives at the small stakes and mid stakes tables, but long to play high stakes tables at least once in their lives and enjoy the thrill, adventure, glamour, glitter, and money associated with them.
