Online Poker Tip - Favorites? No
Many people come into the game of Poker with a favorite hands mindset. As much as you need to have a plan, and perhaps a handful of strong starting hands, you do not need to play favorites strictly. There are pot odds in all that you do around the poker table. Keep the odds in your favor, and play a variety of hands. Do not stake the bankroll on one given hand. Most definatly do not play a hand that needs to draw out a win, because that may not happen. For example if you favorite cards like 7c and 9d because you drew out a draw the last time you played, you may find your chip stack and bankroll diminish faster than you thought possible.
Poker is a game of strategy for a reason. You will not always get the cards you want, when you want them. You will not win every hand, but you can plot a course of action that keeps the pot odds in your favor. This means keeping an open mind about what cards you are dealt and will play.
