Patrik Antonius Joins Team Full Tilt
Huge news came from Event #1 at the WSOP yesterday. Patrik Antonius has been signed to Team Full Tilt Poker.
In a private press conference Howard Lederer welcomed Patrik to the team, stating that he is one of the best poker players and will continue to be so for “decades”.
Antonius was happy to join the team and said he can’t wait to get his new avatar and actually use his real name. He also mentioned that he chose to sign with Full Tilt Poker because their site is created with the poker player in mind, and is the best for poker players.
Phil Ivey welcome Patrik aboard also, stating that Patrik was a one of his toughest competitors. The two joked back and forth about their golf and poker games, and Antonius stated that he hoped now he would be able to get his own table, just like how Ivey has the Ivey Thunderdome.

PokerStars needs to start picking up more of the big named players. It seems Full Tilt is signing them all. Patrik Antonius is a good signing for them. He is well known and continues to play well especially in the high stakes games.
