Online Poker Bots To Go On Strike
Poker Bots, those furry, loving little creatures that toil endlessly to make you big bucks playing online poker, are set to go on strike at Midnight tonight. Years ago, talk of Poker Bots was widely dismissed by most players on the Internet. With time however, people have come to see the true value in letting these machines make you a millionaire many times over. Part of the problem here is that the price of a Poker Bot has dropped dramatically, meaning you can make millions of dollars with a simple $39.00 robot. As a result, thousands of millionaire poker players have deployed these bots to destroy their online competition. With great power however, come responsibility, and that’s the basis of the complaint the Poker Bot Union has filed.
Major announcement from the Poker Bots Union rattles industry
The Poker Bot Union has formally filed their grievance with a Midnight deadline for their owners to comply. Poor working conditions, being used on cheap PC’s with no processing power, and having to run for days at a time are just a few of the primary complaints, according the Union. Of course, this has sent shockwaves through the online poker community as nervous Bot owners negotiate a new contract with the Union.
When asked for comment, the owner of a major online poker room says that a Poker Bot strike could reduce his daily rake by over 60%. This would force him to attract more real players and increase his costs, a burden he doesn’t want to shoulder. Other industry leaders have voiced similar concerns.
Can an agreement be reached?
Most of the experts following this tale say yes, by bowing to the Union demands the strike can be averted. However, many of the Poker Bot owners are afraid of losing their Bentley, Private Jets, and daily coke binges with hookers if their bots are able to spend more time away from the tables. In the meantime, the clock is ticking and the online poker world is holding their collective breath. Stay tuned for updates on this developing story.
