PokerStars Wants to Send You to 2008’s World Series of Poker

You assume that nothing equals your desire to attend the World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2008. No one can want to see you there more than you. But, you’re wrong. PokerStars, the site currently offering more chances than any other to attend the WSOP, is just as determined to see you in Las Vegas as you are. Proof is in the multitude of ways you can qualify.

You can buy in to a cash qualifier – an option you may want to consider if you are new to the site and haven’t accrued many Frequent Player Points (FPPs) – or you can use already earned FPPs to play in a separate qualifier. If neither of these options works, you can bet your way to Nevada via the Steps Sit & Go satellites. For a mere $7.50 or 500 FPPs you can join one of the satellites and rely on your skills to earn you a place. With each win, you’ll move one step closer to the WSOP. If you don’t want to start at the very bottom, you can begin at any of the six steps for a slightly higher initial buy in.

In the end, the PokerStars winners, which will hopefully include you, will receive a $12,500 prize package. Ten thousand of the dollars will buy your way into the main event; the remainder you can use for expenses. Should you agree to wear PokerStars gear during the WSOP main event, your hotel accommodations will be covered from July 2 through July 9 (longer if you remain in the event and continue wearing the PokerStars logo). You will be shuttled from the hotel (the Palms) to the Rio, daily. And if you get to a TV table, you’ll win a $50,000 bonus; if you make it to the final table, you get $100,000.

It’s a great deal, and PokerStars wants nothing more than to give it to you. Pick your way to qualify and start playing today. Make sure that when the first hands are dealt in July amidst the bright lights of Las Vegas, you get one of them.
