Scotty Nguyen To Stop At Heartland Poker Tour Events

Scotty Nguyen, one of the most reputed poker players in the existing poker community, recently announced that he would be making two more stopovers to his tour around the US in November. Nguyen will make his first stop at the Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel in Iowa on the 1st of the month; he will stay till the 7th and will take part in a television tournament cash game and main event poker tourney.

Tami Wallace who is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel also commented on Nguyen’s decision to stop off there. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to play against this poker great. Meskwaki is honored to host such an event,” she said.

The second stop will take place on the 12th of November and end on the 21st, Nguyen will be halting at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Michigan to be a part of the HPT Championship and a few other events like the Championship Open.

Fred Bevill, a commentator for the Heartland Poker Tour also commented on Nguyen saying, “We’re looking forward to introducing our players to a poker legend. Scotty has been entertaining us all on TV for years.”
“Our events are even more exciting for the players when they get the chance to play with the celebrities they see on TV, and all players have a shot at playing on TV themselves,” added Todd Anderson, Tour President for the Heartland Poker Tour.

Players can also expect to see Bernard Lee at the Championship Open scheduled to be held in November. Lee, who is a noted Daily Guest columnist for Poker News, has been a part of the Heartland Poker Tour before and played last year in 2009. However, Lee was unable to make it to the main table and got eliminated without placing in the money. Lee is back this year and said, “I enjoyed myself last time from the champions’ dinner all the way to the Main Event. Hopefully, I can get a little deeper (in the Main Event) than I did last year.”
