US Runs out of Money – Asks PokerStars to Help with Bailout

In a stunning development today a clandestine operation by the US government to fund the historic bailout of companies AIG, Lehman, and several others was uncovered. As Congress waivers on whether to support and pass the near TRILLION dollar deal, it’s now being reported that the Bush administration is talking to PokerStars to help.

While Bush nor any of his officials had any comment, we were able to find a source at PokerStars willing to speak on the condition of anonymity. “Since the US government doesn’t know their ass from a hole in the ground, they’ve apparently sought help from companies that still have deep pockets nowadays. With several gazillion dollars in the bank, we were a natural fit for the profile. Unfortunately, since they still won’t let us enter the US market legally we have no interest in helping bail them out.”

It’ largely believed that US tax payers will foot the bill to the tune of approximately $10K per US household. Now if only we could lobby Congress to bail out individual poker players who lose money by gambling on long shots…Sound familiar AIG?
